HORROR: Woman kills her child, drinks her blood in Imo

                                                                                          A woman in Onicha Uboma Autonomous Community in the Ihitte/Uboma Local Government Area, Imo State, identified only as Ifeoma allegedly killed her one-year-old child, gouged out her eyes and drank her blood.
According to Daily Independent, the 39-year-old woman was alleged to have committed the heinous act inside her husband’s shop. Mr. Azubuike Emedom returned from a business trip to find his wife and child missing....

          Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has spent the last ten months adjusting into the demands of being an executive governor. He recently admitted that he never envisaged that the task of running a state as governor could be so daunting even with his experience as Minister in the federal cabinet.
Perhaps one of the things the governor is still to understand is how to stay away from conflicts with the organised labour and thereby save himself the distraction.

CCT Trial: Senators advise Saraki to resign

                                                                As his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal commenced yesterday April 5th, some senators have advised Senator Bukola Saraki to resign his appointment as the Senate President before he is disgraced out of office. This advise comes as the number of senators who escorted him to the CCT trial dropped to 23 yesterday April 5th. When the trial initially started, 81 senators followed him to the tribunal.

Gaping sinkhole splits road in two in Thailand (photos)

                     It's not doomsday yet but folks in Thailand are already having a sneak peek. A shocking scene greeted commuters in Thailand when they turned up to meet a 13ft deep sinkhole stretching 400ft. 
Authorities have closed the road indefinitely and inspectors have reported finding small cracks at various point along the carriageway.

Cbn Governor Emefiele Hosts A Befitting ‘made In Nigeria’ Style Burial For Mother

Mr. Godwin Emefiele, Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) over the weekend in Boji-Boji Agbor, Delta State, buried his mother, Madam Alice Emefiele, who died at age 94.

The two-day burial ceremony, which took place in Ika South Local Government Area, saw the 'who is who' pay their last respect to the deceased in a modest ceremony.

True to the CBN governor's campaign for 'Made in Nigeria' goods, no imported champagne, beverages and foods were served at the ceremony. Guests were served only traditional Nigerian foods, bites and local drinks from Nigerian Breweries, Guinness, Coca Cola, 7up, and Chivita Limited. Locally brewed fresh palm wine was also served.

                                                                                         A wedding ceremony taking place at Takoradi Aldersgate Methodist Church in the Sekondi/Anaji, Ghana on Saturday, April 2, 2016 was cut short after policemen stormed the church's premises and arrested the bridegroom over suspected armed robbery. The arrest is in connection with a robbery case at Aniamote, a community in the Wassa Amenfi District in the Western region.

The 30-year-old suspect Aaron Ackah,(pictured) is alleged to have robbed a Chinese Small Scale Miner of an amount of Gh¢18,000 after inflicting knife wounds on his left hand.

21yr old lady haunted by her decision to have an abortion, hanged herself after listening to Ed Sheeran's song 'small bump'

                                                                Jade Rees, a young single mother of one, killed herself after struggling to come to terms with an abortion she had just weeks earlier. She terminated her pregnancy after a five month relationship with the unborn baby's father ended and he began dating another woman. But her decision left her ''upset and distressed'' and three weeks later she took her own life after listening to Ed Sheeran's song 'Small Bump' which the artiste recorded in response to a friend’s miscarriage at five months.


Tragic Jade left a handwritten note addressed to her parents and also her two-year-old son to explain the struggles she had faced since the procedure. One note said of her child: 
''He means everything to me''.

Zaria Massacre: Court Re-Adjourns Hearing Of Detained Brothers, Changes Court For The Hearing

Court in Kaduna responsible for the hearing of brother's case who were in prison custody, since after the Nigerian Army deliberate attack on Islamic Movement on Saturday, 12/12/2015, have yesterday, re-adjourned the hearing for the third time, till 29 April 2016.

The presiding Judge of the Magistrate court, Kaduna State, Justice Adamu Musa this time around led the teaming counsels to the Government and those of the IMN to the convict prison premises ground in a less tight security operative as witnessed later during the hearing of the case.

During the hearing, the counsel to the Government presented the allegations on the brothers, but, they were all rejected the allegations.
